About this tender

Bellini Yachts Astor 36 - what we know.

The Astor 36 is the build we ask Bellini for when a programme needs a proper 11.3m walkaround with enough interior volume to overnight four guests and enough deck space to handle twelve passengers at CE Category B offshore certification. It is a centre-console layout designed by Brunello Acampora - clean sheerline, folding port and starboard balconies as standard, and a hull length of 9.99m that sits the boat in a genuinely usable size bracket rather than an inflated marketing number.

Construction is vacuum resin-infused fibreglass throughout, finished in polished white gelcoat or painted to order. The engine menu runs to three twin-sterndrive configurations: twin Volvo Penta V8 350hp petrol, twin V8 380hp petrol, or twin D4 300hp DPI diesel. The diesel pairing is the specification we see most captains return to - 700 litres of fuel in a single tank, approximately 250 nautical miles of range at a 25-27 knot cruise. That puts serious coastal itineraries within reach without a fuel stop.

The interior delivers four berths across a cabin that sources confirm includes a double bed with overhead skylight, a separate bathroom with circular basin and wooden countertop, and a TV-fitted saloon area. At 3.9m beam and 7,350 kg dry, this is a boat that carries its accommodation honestly without compromising the deck proportions that make a walkaround useful as a superyacht tender or chase vessel.

Highlights

Built for the work.

The four details we'd point out first to a captain who hasn't seen one on the water yet.

01

Vacuum-infused GRP hull

The Astor 36 is built using vacuum resin infusion throughout, giving a consistent laminate quality and a controlled dry weight of 7,350 kg. The hull is available in polished white gelcoat or a painted finish, which holds better against fender contact in tender operations.

02

Three sterndrive engine options

Buyers can specify twin Volvo Penta V8 350hp petrol, twin V8 380hp petrol, or twin D4 300hp DPI diesel sterndrives. The diesel configuration paired with a 700-litre single tank delivers an approximate range of 250 nautical miles at cruising speeds of 25-27 knots, which is the configuration we recommend for offshore programmes.

03

Standard folding balconies

Port and starboard folding balconies are included in the standard specification rather than listed as options. These extend the working beam when moored, give guests a direct connection to the water, and are a meaningful differentiator at this length in the Italian walkaround segment.

04

CE Category B offshore certification

The Astor 36 carries CE Category B certification for offshore use and is rated to carry twelve persons. That combination of passenger number and offshore category makes it a credible candidate for superyacht tender duty on programmes operating beyond coastal shelter.

05

Four-berth overnight cabin layout

The below-deck arrangement accommodates four berths with a double cabin, separate head with basin and storage, and a saloon area with mounted television. A skylight above the main berth provides natural light - an unusual detail at this price point in a 36-foot build.

Questions, answered

Before you enquire.

What engine options are available on the Bellini Astor 36?
Three twin-sterndrive configurations are offered: twin Volvo Penta V8 350hp petrol, twin V8 380hp petrol, or twin D4 300hp DPI diesel. For range-focused programmes, the diesel pairing is the practical choice - a single 700-litre tank supports approximately 250 nautical miles at a 25-27 knot cruise.
What is the Astor 36 certified for and how many passengers can it carry?
The Astor 36 holds CE Category B (offshore) certification and is rated for a maximum of twelve persons. Category B covers offshore sea states up to significant wave heights of 4 metres and wind force 8, making it suitable as a superyacht tender on open-water programmes.
Is the Astor 36 suitable as a superyacht tender?
At 11.3m overall with a 3.9m beam, CE Category B certification, twelve-person capacity, and a diesel range of approximately 250 nautical miles, the Astor 36 sits in a practical bracket for mothership tender duty. The standard folding balconies and four-berth interior also make it viable for crew use on multi-day programmes.
What is the hull construction on the Astor 36?
The hull is built using vacuum resin infusion of fibreglass, which Bellini state produces a consistent laminate throughout. Dry weight is 7,350 kg and fully laden weight is 9,200 kg. Finish is either polished white gelcoat or painted to order.
Does the Astor 36 have an overnight cabin?
Yes. The below-deck layout provides four berths, a double cabin with skylight above the main berth, a head compartment with circular basin and wooden countertop, and a saloon area fitted with a wall-mounted television. The black water tank capacity is 106 litres.

Bellini Yachts

Clusane d'Iseo, Italy

Bellini Yacht sits within Bellini Nautica SPA, a group founded in 1960 by Battista Bellini on the shores of Lake Iseo, in the village of Clusane, Brescia - a stretch of water with deep boatbuilding roots shared by names such as Riva, Rio, and Arcangeli. The original yard built handcrafted wooden runabouts that competed on style and performance with the best Italian builders of the era, producing roughly 700 hulls across models including the Condor, Atlantic, and Astor before production ceased in 1973 following the founder's illness.

For the next five decades the group stayed active in storage, restoration, and refitting - building particular expertise in the recovery of classic and vintage craft. In 2023, the third generation relaunched new-build production under the Bellini Yacht banner, calling upon designer Brunello Acampora of Victory Design and Norberto Ferretti, founder of Ferretti Yachts, to define the contemporary line-up.

The current range centres on two walkaround models. The ASTOR 36 - a 36ft centre-console walkaround - made its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024 and is the build we would put forward for superyacht tender or chase-boat duty; twin Volvo Penta V8 petrol options run from 350 hp to 380 hp, with diesel D4 alternatives, and the twin-380 hp petrol configuration is quoted at above 42 knots. The ASTOR 58, a 17.88-metre walkaround, followed for Cannes 2025. Both carry deep-V hulls tuned for stability and a spray-painted finish across six signature colour configurations. Owners can specify the B Atelier programme for bespoke paint, upholstery, materials, and finish details. The yard is listed on Euronext Growth Milan and holds a UK dealer network through Sebino Yachts.
