About this tender

Bellini Yachts Astor 58 - what we know.

The Astor 58 is the build we ask Bellini for when a programme needs genuine liveaboard volume alongside credible passage-making performance. At 17.88m overall, it sits in that useful band where three separate cabin suites are genuinely achievable without forcing a compromise on cockpit space or fuel range. The walkaround layout is the structural choice that makes it work: uninterrupted side decks connect bow and stern without routing guests through the saloon, which matters both at anchor and when manoeuvring alongside.

Twin Volvo Penta D11 IPS units, each rated at 950 hp, give a manufacturer-quoted top speed of 35 knots and a cruising figure of 26 knots. At cruise, Bellini quotes consumption at 190 litres per hour, drawing on a 2,400-litre fuel tank. The IPS drive arrangement is worth noting for your captain: the pod configuration improves fuel efficiency relative to a comparable shaft installation and makes close-quarters manoeuvring considerably more manageable, particularly in a marina context.

Below deck, the layout runs to three cabins and three bathrooms. The owner's cabin sits forward with its own dedicated head; the VIP cabin is also en-suite; and a third cabin carries two separate berths with its own bathroom. The cockpit level incorporates a bar and a guest bathroom, so the interior accommodation is not constantly interrupted by day guests. Dry weight is quoted at 23 tonnes, with a fully laden figure of 27 tonnes, giving the programme manager a realistic picture of load margin for extended cruising outfits.

Highlights

Built for the work.

The four details we'd point out first to a captain who hasn't seen one on the water yet.

01

Twin Volvo Penta D11 IPS driveline

Each IPS 950 unit delivers 950 hp, for a combined 1,900 hp through pod drives. Manufacturer-quoted top speed is 35 knots, with a cruising speed of 26 knots and a fuel burn of 190 litres per hour at cruise from a 2,400-litre tank. The IPS format also simplifies low-speed manoeuvring in tight marina berths.

02

Three-cabin, three-bathroom layout

An owner's cabin forward with a private head, a VIP cabin also with a separate bathroom, and a third cabin with two berths and its own bathroom give a full complement of fourteen persons aboard genuine separation between owner, guests, and crew. Each suite is self-contained, which matters on a passage rather than a day trip.

03

Walkaround deck with hardtop shading

The walkaround design provides continuous side-deck access from cockpit to bow without passing through the accommodation, a practical advantage when anchoring or handling lines. A hardtop shades the main cockpit living and dining area, creating a covered outdoor space that functions in direct sun without enclosing the layout.

04

Cockpit bar and guest bathroom

A dedicated bar and guest bathroom are positioned at cockpit level, serving day guests from the social area without sending them below to the private cabin bathrooms. This is the detail that distinguishes a thoughtfully planned layout from a simple headcount-maximisation exercise.

Questions, answered

Before you enquire.

What engines does the Bellini Astor 58 use?
Bellini specifies twin Volvo Penta D11 IPS units, each rated at 950 hp, for a combined output of 1,900 hp through pod drives. The IPS arrangement provides both the performance figures quoted and improved low-speed handling compared with a conventional shaft installation.
How many people can the Astor 58 carry?
The manufacturer quotes a maximum of fourteen persons on board. Three separate cabin suites sleep the owner's party, and the cockpit layout with its own bar and guest bathroom is configured to accommodate day guests without directing them into the private accommodation.
What is the fuel range on the Astor 58?
The page does not state a range figure directly. Fuel capacity is 2,400 litres. At the quoted cruising speed of 26 knots with a burn of 190 litres per hour, a conservative estimate of endurance is approximately twelve to thirteen hours at cruise before reserves are required, though Bellini has not published a formal range figure on this page.
How many cabins does the Astor 58 have?
Three cabins, each with its own separate bathroom. The owner's cabin is forward at the bow, a VIP cabin sits amidships, and a third cabin offers two separate berths. All three are en-suite, and a further guest bathroom is provided in the cockpit for day use.
Where is the Bellini Astor 58 available in the UK?
Sebino Yachts holds the official Bellini Yachts UK dealer franchise and handles new Astor 58 enquiries, specification, and delivery. Contact details and a brochure request form are available directly on the Sebino Yachts website.

Bellini Yachts

Clusane d'Iseo, Italy

Bellini Yacht sits within Bellini Nautica SPA, a group founded in 1960 by Battista Bellini on the shores of Lake Iseo, in the village of Clusane, Brescia - a stretch of water with deep boatbuilding roots shared by names such as Riva, Rio, and Arcangeli. The original yard built handcrafted wooden runabouts that competed on style and performance with the best Italian builders of the era, producing roughly 700 hulls across models including the Condor, Atlantic, and Astor before production ceased in 1973 following the founder's illness.

For the next five decades the group stayed active in storage, restoration, and refitting - building particular expertise in the recovery of classic and vintage craft. In 2023, the third generation relaunched new-build production under the Bellini Yacht banner, calling upon designer Brunello Acampora of Victory Design and Norberto Ferretti, founder of Ferretti Yachts, to define the contemporary line-up.

The current range centres on two walkaround models. The ASTOR 36 - a 36ft centre-console walkaround - made its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024 and is the build we would put forward for superyacht tender or chase-boat duty; twin Volvo Penta V8 petrol options run from 350 hp to 380 hp, with diesel D4 alternatives, and the twin-380 hp petrol configuration is quoted at above 42 knots. The ASTOR 58, a 17.88-metre walkaround, followed for Cannes 2025. Both carry deep-V hulls tuned for stability and a spray-painted finish across six signature colour configurations. Owners can specify the B Atelier programme for bespoke paint, upholstery, materials, and finish details. The yard is listed on Euronext Growth Milan and holds a UK dealer network through Sebino Yachts.
