About Santasevera
Santasevera is an Italian dayboat and sport-yacht builder operating out of the Cantiere Navale di Santasevera shipyard on the Tyrrhenian coast north of Rome. The brand was introduced in 2023 and is built on the naval architecture and design of Francesco Guida - co-founder and the principal behind Guida Design Studio, whose CV includes senior roles at Sanlorenzo and the founding of Arcadia Yachts, as well as superyacht commissions beyond 260 feet.
The current production range spans three models - the 40, the 46, and the 52 - covering approximately 12.0m to 16.4m overall. The 52 (15.75m LOA, 5.05m beam) is the build we point owners and captains toward when the brief calls for a chase boat or owner tender that can carry real deck volume, sleep four below in two cabins, and still reach 30-plus knots under twin Volvo Penta IPS 800 power. The hull form draws on a lobster-boat-inspired profile: a hardtop set well forward, a lowering sheerline aft, and a wide, open cockpit that gives the boat the feel of a beach-club platform rather than a conventional motorboat.
Santasevera is distributed across Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the Americas; SuperTenders Monaco lists the brand alongside Anvera and Novamarine in the superyacht support-craft segment. Bespoke configuration - layout, colour, upholstery, and propulsion choice - is standard practice at the yard, with no two hulls leaving the facility in identical specification.

Most tender purchases go wrong in the brief, not the build. This guide walks the buying process end to end, brief first, garage envelope second, propulsion third, yard shortlist fourth, contract fifth, the way we run it for owners.

The tender garage is the most expensive box on the yacht to get wrong, once built, stretching it means cutting structure. This guide works backwards from the tender envelope through the seven dimensions that actually decide which boat fits.

Production, semi-custom and full-custom are not a quality ladder, they are three different commercial propositions. This guide defines each tier, what they cost, the lead times, and how to pick the right one for the brief before a yard is chosen.

A tender purchase that closes without a clean survey, a bound insurance policy and a documented sea trial has three failure modes baked in. This guide walks the acquisition sequence we use, what good looks like at each step, and the recurring traps.
