Blue Game BGX83 - what we know.
The BGX83 is the build we ask Bluegame for when your programme demands a full-sized flagship rather than a stretched mid-range hull. At 25.6 metres it sits at the top of the BGX range, and the specification reflects that position: triple Volvo Penta IPS1200 units producing 900 hp each, a 30-knot maximum and a 28-knot cruise, and 7,000 litres of standard fuel to keep a serious itinerary moving without a shore call every other day.
The design credit goes to Luca Santella and Zuccon International Project, a pairing that has shaped the BGX line from the outset. The 6.30-metre beam and 1.80-metre draft give the hull a proportioned platform for the volume inside: three or four guest cabins plus two crew, an upper-deck salon, a flybridge, and an openable side terrace that connects the main-deck living space to the water. These are not features bolted on to fill a brochure; they are the load-bearing elements of how the boat is actually used.
We would place the BGX83 alongside the larger Italian sport-cruiser builds rather than against conventional displacement motoryachts. The IPS pod drive installation keeps the engine room compact and the stern clear, and the 32,659-kg displacement is genuinely low for the footprint. Captains used to shaft-drive boats of similar length will notice the manoeuvrability difference immediately, which is relevant if your programme includes tight Mediterranean harbours or frequent anchorage changes.
Fresh water tankage of 1,500 litres supports extended owner programmes, and the separate grey and black water circuits at 600 litres each are sized to meet current environmental regulations without requiring frequent pump-outs. Price is on application; enquiries are handled through Sanlorenzo Yachts UK in London and Southampton.
