The engine choice is straightforward. Goldfish offers three twin Mercury packages: the 300R for range-friendly efficiency, the 400R for a clear step up in top-end performance, and the 500R for owners who want the highest speed the hull will produce. Goldfish quotes a speed range of 64 to 87 knots across those options. Every configuration ships with a rear tie-bar as standard, which keeps tracking precise at the top of the speed envelope. The 600-litre fuel capacity is reasonable for the power on offer, though on the 500R package it will concentrate the range.
The cockpit is where the 40 SuperSport separates itself from a pure performance boat. Seating is fully configurable at order: two to six patrol seats for a performance-focused arrangement, or front and aft sofas for a comfort-led guest layout.
