Maxim Yachts builds from Empuriabrava on the Costa Brava, a working marina town that doubles as a practical test ground for the performance-focused open boats the yard produces. The current active range runs four models between 12.0m and 14.0m - all variants of the MAX 43 and MAX 44 families - spanning a Race specification aimed squarely at speed and a Comfort trim that widens the brief to overnight cruising and social day use.

The build brief is performance-first. The MAX 44 R carries a lightweight composite hull and a carbon-fibre hardtop, engineered for hydrodynamic efficiency and low topside weight. The MAX 43 Race shares the same race-inspired deep-vee hull philosophy, twin Mercury Racing outboards, and a fiberglass laminate construction. Both models are custom-built to owner specification - layouts, finishes, and engine selections are confirmed at order rather than picked from a trim-level sheet.

Where Maxim sits on the superyacht support ladder is in bespoke tender configurations: alongside the core catalogue, the yard offers purpose-configured builds designed to serve as luxury tenders for superyachts and large vessels, with charter and dealer programmes running alongside private orders. The MAX 43 Comfort adds folding stabilising fins and a more considered aft layout, giving owners a boat that works as a standalone coastal cruiser or as a capable, fast-boarding tender when the programme calls for it. The yard attends Palma International Boat Show and Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, and the MAX 43 Comfort made its world debut at Boot Düsseldorf 2025.
